Another Doggie Modding Attempt

    I ordered a DNA75 Orca Enclosure. Was thinking I'd pay someone to assemble, but now thinking that the DNA75 looks much easier to wire than the smaller dicodes bf60, and I might do it myself.

    I can apparently dye the with RIT dye if I choose to. But not sure.

    Wish me luck. Not rushing this one :bowdown:

    Arrived today. Still waiting on some bits. I did rough sand it to a more uniform brushed finish.

    20700 enclosure mills the extra battery space as a channel. Makes for a strip of darker tone, which is a shame

    3 parts water to 1 part dye. On low on the stove. Took 45 minutes all up, but 20 was getting it up to temperature.

    Wiring next... Eek

    The blue looks great, the black carbon fibre works well with it. Love the matching squonk bottle too.

    After a couple of failed attempts, worked out how to fit it. Strip and shape wire before tinning and attaching.

    But I might need to redo it, since positive touches something?
