We have finally moved in completely into our new house in Smithton Tasmania. I wish to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to Allied Pickford Removalist for the excellent service. They picked up the furniture etc., on a Monday and had it delivered in two containers on a Semi trailer the following Wednesday. Poor buggers that delivered it to us, they were caught in a big thunderstorm and lost about 45 minutes waiting for it to pass. Oh well never mind, I managed to introduce the delivery crew to the joys of vaping and put them onto @vapetrail in Launceston Tasmania for their hardware needs and Mixology in NZ for their Nic needs.

Mowed front and back lawns, it was so good to have my own lawns now and a lovely garden not too big. Fixed my brand new weather station to the house and am totally enjoying life in the Duck River Tasmania

    Thanks, RJ.

    I'd love to have one.
Using a hand splitter is killing me.

Cost me $30 for the hand splitter, mind you, that was 30 years ago, so I guess I got my monies worth.

Trouble is now I'm older, the harder I have to swing the splitter.
The harder I swing, the more I miss my target.

When I miss, for some reason my left hand swings off the handle,
and my finger nails dig into my right forearm, digging out large pieces of skin,
no matter how close I trim my finger nails.

It's not unusual for me to have four deep gouges in my forearm,
and because I'm on blood thinners, it gets very messy.

    LoL... My other problem is.......

I don't think I'm going to live long enough to make the $275 spend worth while. :)

Thanks Lily a lot more work than when we were renting but now it's a labour of love. As to the fireplace we'll um yeah... The chainsaw has been working overtime as to the operator well... I can't claim industrial fatigue.

Drove back to Hobart yesterday to attend a dear friend's memorial service. (475 km) from my place. Oh well this morning we go shopping (Sat) for delicacies we cannot get in our country town. Knew those old Waeco caravan fridge freezers would come in handy. at the wife who went ape when I bought them.

DVD Rack finally finished. Been collecting DVDs since they came out. Enough to start our own rental shop. Nah... Prefer Netflix and YouTube. [IMG]
