    Doesn't look like that's going to negate the need to charge them. Just means they won't wear out...

    Not a kill joy. I thought the exact same thing. Same as a car made completely from hemp. Its been designed, then bought out by an oil company so its never manufactured

    I seem to remember watching a show called "beyond 2000" when i was a kid. I have to say some but not all of what i saw on that show has come to fruition. I would like to think something as useful as batteries with extended life expectancy would make it through. But i am with you... batteries are a necessity so the wait for a new type on the market will most likely be a long time coming.
