Have one of these enclosures coming. Took default options, so need to drill the 510. I have a ddill press, but thinking delrin may grab if it melts, and/or split. So thinking pilot hole with brand new drill bit, and then 11mm hole with new bit?

Won't be here for up to a month.

Also need to clean it up, polish etc. Wiring should be easy enough.

This is for a dicodes board

If you drill the final hole slowly without too much pressure, there should be little heat.

If you're careful with a holesaw &/or router you could probably counter sink that 510 surround.

I have finer grit paper coming. 3000, 5000, 7000. Kinda liking the matt next to the polish of the carbon fiber.

Got the dicodes board today. Still need minor parts, like battery contacts that are coming from china.

Got these today. The 7000 grit I briefly thought I had upside down. Can barely feel the grit it is so smooth

Fingerprint magnet now. Don't think, with that in mind, that polishing more will help.

    Wow love it!!
I see what you mean about the side panel not sitting flush.
Maybe sand the button(from the inside) down abit?
What's causing it to not sit flush? Is it the fire button?
